Our Futsal Competitions are a great way to get your fix of the round ball game during the week. Our competitions run year round and we have divisions to suit all skill levels. We have over 120 adult teams and 40 junior teams, so there’s plenty of experience and variety to go around!
- We are located in Knoxfield and surrounded by Rowville, Ferntree Gully, Scoresby and Wantirna South.
- Knox and Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs can lay claim to being the strongest sporting areas in the State, boasting the most prestigious competitions and representative teams.

Frequently Asked Questions.
Game times are typically scheduled at 6:30pm, 7:10pm, 7:50pm, 8:30pm, 9:10pm, and 9:50pm. Times are rotated to ensure every team receives a fair and equal number of early and late games across the season.
If your team has difficulty making the 6:30pm timeslot, please let us know and we can avoid scheduling your team at that time where possible. Requests to avoid late games cannot be accommodated, as late times are evenly allocated to all teams.
We do our best to minimise forfeits as no competition wants them! You are always welcome to bring in fill ins and even better, we can help arrange fill ins for you at short notice from our big database of fills ins inside our facebook group. We also encourage you to join this group as you can source some fill ins quite easily! If you absolutely must forfeit, we still require the match fee. If your team forfeits within 24 hours of your game, an additional $50 fee will be charged.
Yes you can certainly bring in fill ins each week to top up your team! We have a big database of fill ins inside our facebook group that you are welcome to join too. The only time fill ins may be an issue is during semi-finals and finals.
As much as we’d love every team to have uniforms, we know this is difficult to police. You simply have to be wearing matching top colours. If there is a clash of colours we provide bibs! Shinguards are recommended but not compulsory.
No, we provide the futsal balls and referees to make it easy for everyone!
Yes, dependent on the night/competition. It is usually our preference to split our teams into multiple divisions where possible to find the best fit for yours! It’s important to remember however that grading teams is a very comprehensive process, especially when not all teams are at the same level, but we do our best efforts to find the best fit out of the pool available. We ask that teams understand a competition will have both challenging games and easier games. We do have two grading games ahead of each season to help you find the best level.
The registration fee can be paid the opening night at the reception desk and the match fees can also be paid at the desk before each game! Cash and card facilities are available. If your team wants to opt for a discounted upfront payment, please speak to us directly!
It is not compulsory to provide your own personal accident insurance to participate in our competitions, but please note Eastern Indoor does not provide personal accident insurance and players accept a ‘play at own risk’ policy during social sport competitions. Eastern Indoor holds public liability insurance as required, but players need to hold their own line of personal accident insurance if they wish to make an insurance claim on an injury sustained during social sport.
When a player receives a red card, an automatic suspension will apply. The team captain will be notified via email and is responsible for passing this information on to the suspended player. The email will outline the length and details of the suspension.
